You Want Fast But Healthy Weight Loss

Alright, so you've made up your mind that you're going to lose weight as quickly as possible. You have a diet plan in place that you expect to follow religiously. Are you wondering, at this point, just how much weight you can lose in a week's time and if a fast weight loss could be dangerous for you? After all, everybody wants to lose weight fast, right?
You see, there really are various things that can have a big affect on your weight loss. For example, you should consider your family history (genetics), which can be a huge determiner of your success. Also, your weight loss may depend, tremendously, on just how much exercise you're getting everyday, as well as how much stress is effecting your body and mind. The speed of your metabolism, or how quickly calories are burned by you, can effect your weight loss in a major way as can a variety of health conditionsthat you may not even know you have
In theory, you could actually lose as much as 20 pounds a week. However, if the truth be told, much of that weight is probably going to be just water weight. What this means is that when you eventually go off your diet, chances are good that you are going to gain much of that weight back. Think about this too, it's necessary for you to have some type of strength training to go along with your weight lose or you will be losing muscle along with fat, since about a quarter of the body's weight consists of muscle. To be realistic though it would be more reasonable to believe that, at most, you can probably lose four pounds of fat per week.
A Healthy Diet Plan is Optimal
Excessive weight loss is not good for you but nature has a way of protecting the body against this. If your calorie count suddenly drops, there will be a reduction in your metabolic rate. That is your body's way of compensating. You'll then need fewer calories to maintain your weight. This is one explanation of why some people lose weight and then hit a point where it seems they cannot lose any additional weight, no matter how hard they try.
You've got to have a healthy diet plan to be healthy and successful. If you purposefully lose weight quickly, chances are that you will be jeopardizing your health. Did you know that gall stones are linked to rapid weight loss? This is one example. You don't want gall stones, for sure. One of the most obvious effects of rapid weight loss is loose skin all over the body as the free fall effect kicks in. And really the most distressing problem of all is that if you experience fast weight loss, chances are very good that you will just gain the weight back again. The reason being that it is very difficult to maintain a healthy diet regimen for a long period of time. There's a big possibility that you may find yourself falling back into your old eating habits after a period of feeling deprived.
Eating orders are another risk when fast weight loss is sought. If you actually begin to starve yourself, you could start suffering from anorexia. Another possibility is that because your food cravings are so great, you may want to binge and purge, leading to a case of bulimia. These are some reasons why it is so necessary and important that you lose weight under the direction of your physician. If not the chances are very real that you could be doing more harm to your body than good.
So, what is the best way to lose weight fast? It's true that the body has the capability of shedding a great deal of weight over a period of time. However, the vast majority of medical experts agree that no one should realistically expect to lose more than one or two pounds a week and maintain good health. If someone needs to lose 50 or more pounds, this can be disappointing. However, for long-term weight loss, it is believed by doctors that the go-slow approach is best. Any other approach to weight loss could lead to unhealthy outcomes.
Weight loss includes a number of approaches that can be used to lose significant weight. As an example, there is the Zone diet, Atkins diet or a diabetic diet. You might try Sugar Busters or the Carb Addict's prescription for losing weight. However you do it remember that it is of utmost importance that you accompany your diet plan with a routine exercise plan that is effective. Walking is one of the best exercises you can do. In fact, it is the easiest one to do. Walking alone has been known to cause as much as two pounds per week to be lost.
Rapid weight loss should always be approached with a significant amount of caution. A few pounds per week are far better to lose while maintaining your health over the long term, than trying to get rid of it all in a short period. Hey, it took a long time to put the weight on. Why should you expect it to take such a short time to get rid of it? Wouldn't you agree that all good things take time? Well, that's particularly true when it comes to weight loss. Be patient, follow a reasonable diet, drink a lot of water and mostly, get plenty of exercise! Using this method, losing weight slowly, you will keep your health and be happier over the long run.

The sad truth is that fast weight loss techniques, that you read about and hear about all the time, are not always effective. That's right. Many of them do not provide the results that they promise. Fast weight loss is, to be fair, a relative term. "Relative to what?", you ask. Well, relative to what you consider "fast." Is your weight reduction goal one week or one month? Is it 10 pounds or 100 or more pounds?
You see, unfortunately, most people don't want to hear the truth and they'll fall for an advertisement claiming that they can lose 10 pounds a week when, in reality, that kind of weight loss can be very dangerous and unhealthy. Most people don't seem to want to know the truth about fast weight loss and they'd rather go on believing that there is a way to lose weight ridiculously fast enough that they'll be able to shed those 30 pounds in two weeks. Then, unfortunately, they are very disappointed and frustrated when the truth sets in and the highly marketed diet plan that they bought into turns out to be an exaggeration.
We Know What You're Going ThroughThat's why we, at Repair My Weight loss, are here. We want you to know the truth despite what others are trying to get you to believe. We're certainly not saying that diets don't work. We know that diets work but we also know that they're never a walk in the park. Diets take hard and often frustrating work. Most people give up on a diet just as the diet is about to show results. We know because the staff at Repair My Weight Loss has experienced most of those diets right along with you. We've suffered through the seemingly starvation type diets, the low carb diets, the low fat diets...just about every one of them. We understand what you are going through and we want to help you.
Fast weight loss diets are, for the most part, unreal. There are a few fast weight loss diets that actually work initially but after you've lost the first few pounds rather rapidly, they stall out. There's a reason for that.
Other proclaimed fast weight reduction diets don't even come close to their claims. Then there are those that are highly effective if you can stand to stay on them for any amount of time. No matter which diet you use, believe in or want to try, we've found that one thing always seems to make the initial phase of any diet work much more effectively.
Cleansing
The cleansing of the colon by certain methods seems to allow the body to move into diets a bit more easily. The initial shock of any type of diet to the body is tolerated more readily if the colon is cleansed appropriately first. Does this mean you have to experience some form of diarrhea for a week or something nasty like that? No, not at all. Some forms of colon cleansing don't have much to do with bowel movements but rather what you put into the body over a certain period of time.
We don't condone or sponsor ANY specific colon cleansing product here at RMWL, but we do promote, strongly, the use of some type of colon cleanser either with or without a diet. Why? Because your health starts in your colon and that's the orgination of most diseases. This is a private thing. No one has to know that you practice colon cleansing. Just don't tell them but, for your own sake, DO practice it. Here is a great site for learning more about colon cleansing.
