Ok, so you decide that you'll take the plunge. You're going to lose that weight by going on a well-proven diet along with exercise and good nutrition. You do everything right. You start out just like the book told you to and you begin your daily diet exercise routine and follow both religiously. In addition, you've purchased a book that gives you great recipes that fit perfectly in your diet plan. You work diligently for weeks upon weeks, exercising and dieting just as the hot diet plan instructs you. But you lose very little weight.

After 6 weeks of insufferable dieting, your gut is still a bit bloated looking, you've lost maybe 3 pounds and you're not feeling that great. Does this sound familiar? You've got a hot diet but the results are leaving you cold. This is very discouraging and certainly dampens the spirit. Maybe it's not the diet or the plan that's the problem. It could be that there may be something else going on that you didn't plan or even know about. What am I referring to?

There are several things that could very well be going on inside you that are causing you to maintain your weight, no matter how hard you try to lose it through diet and exercise. Let's just call them diet problems for now. Let us explore those possibilities.

First, if your former diet was uninterrupted for many years and it consisted of a lot of fat, junk carbohydrates, sugar and just plain old "junk food,"you've probably built up a strong toxin base in your body. Your colon is the center of your nutritive health. The biggest mistake you can make is ignoring it or neglecting it simply because it is not a pleasant thought. Fast Weight Loss Techniques Are Not Always Effective

The sad truth is that fast weight loss techniques, that you read about and hear about all the time, are not always effective. That's right. Many of them do not provide the results that they promise. You see, unfortunately, most people don't want to hear the truth and they'll fall for an advertisement claiming that they can lose 10 pounds a week when, in reality, that kind of weight loss can be very dangerous and unhealthy. Most people don't seem to want to know the truth about fast weight loss and they'd rather go on believing that there is a way to lose weight ridiculously fast enough that they'll be able to shed those 30 pounds in two weeks. Then, unfortunately, they are very disappointed and frustrated when the truth sets in and the highly marketed diet plan that they bought into turns out to be an exaggeration.

The Weight Loss Plateau
